Life Community Enrichment is a non-profit organization, founded in 2017. In only two years, we’ve assisted thousands of people and organizations, and continue to serve more every day. With your help, we can serve many more.

Executive Director

Dawna Hubert


Read Bio

Dawna began her career as a staffer in the Arizona State Senate, working on the Commerce, Labor, Insurance and Banking Committee. She went on to serve as a lobbyist for insurance companies and was the youngest ever head of a state agency in Arizona (the Arizona Automobile Theft Prevention Authority). After leaving Arizona in 1995, Dawna held the position of Vice President of International Med-Care, a corporation she co-founded, where she oversaw all corporate activities. In 2017, she became Executive Director of LIFE Community Enrichment, where she has distributed hundreds of thousands of dollars to those in need over the past two years. Outside of work, Dawna serves as President of the Gay & Lesbian Alliance of North Texas, an organization committed to celebrating diversity & enhancing equality for LGBT North Texans.

Cheryl Landry

 

Read Bio

Cheryl has over 20 years of Executive Administrative Operational Experience.  She manages complex administrative and clerical support duties while maintaining confidentiality and a fluid transparent communication between a dyad of departments and all levels of corporate hierarchies. She serves as the principal direct liaison to both external and internal customers and always succeeds at offering stellar customer service. In addition to her day to day administrative operational duties, she’s compassionate about giving back to our communities and volunteers with homeless shelters, religious organizations, schools, and community outreach events.

Meet Our Leaders

John Ziglar

President

John is an innovator in the credit card processing industry. He currently serves as Senior Manager for Direct Solutions International, a consulting company in the merchant processing field with a unique process that eliminates excessive fees charged by banks. He has previously owned and operated multiple wholesale credit card processors. Prior to entering into the credit card processing industry, John was instrumental in the operation and marketing of the motivational seminars of his uncle, Zig Ziglar, who was a motivational speaker, specializing in personal development training and presentation skill coaching. John’s top priority is his family. He and his wife of over 40 years are the parents to four children and grandparents to eight and counting.

Gail Hubert

Vice President

Gail has nearly 40 years of experience in the insurance industry. Her expertise spans the spectrum of life and health insurance, employee benefits, pension consulting, nontraditional dental and health benefits as well as owning her own insurance brokerage firm. In 1995 she co-founded International Med-Care (IMC), and has led the charge creating multiple other corporations, including Benefits Network, Inc., Visionary Healthcare Solutions, and MD Select. All of the corporations worked together to allow IMC members to save an average of over 50% on their hospital bills over the last 20 years. In 2006, Gail established LIFE Association with the hope of bettering lives by providing medical, financial and wellness education and resource programs to Members, and that endeavor led to the establishment of LIFE Community Enrichment.

Patricia Lister

Board Member

Pat brings a variety of valuable experiences to LIFE Community Enrichment, and her commitment to providing quality programs and services makes her an ideal candidate. Pat has an extensive background in both print and media communications. She was the publisher of The Monitor, the official newspaper of Fort Bliss in El Paso, TX, and she built and ran an FM radio station in the Albuquerque area. Her passion for customer service comes from her ownership of multiple Baskin-Robbins and Quizno’s Sub franchises. As a successful franchisee, she was a “go to” mentor for many new operations, and she served on the National Advisory Committee for Baskin-Robbins. She currently owns Shalako Southwestern ARTS and enjoys sharing her experience and knowledge with teenagers as a popular substitute teacher in the Phoenix area.
